BIOGRAPHY

Nigel has a broad practice across the areas of insolvency, commercial disputes, civil liability, security enforcement and public law.

Nigel was called to the Bar in 2018. Prior to coming to the Bar, Nigel was the joint leader of Commercial Disputes at the ACT Government Solicitor – covering the areas of commercial disputes, insolvency, property disputes and debt recovery. Nigel also appeared as counsel for the Territory in range of matters including medical negligence, personal injury, commercial disputes, insolvency, and public law matters.

Prior to joining the ACT Government Solicitor, Nigel was a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Government Solicitor, in which he conducted commercial disputes, supervised security enforcement actions nationally, and was a leader of the National Insolvency and Debt Recovery Network.
