BIOGRAPHY

Katie joined the ACT Bar in 2021, and practises predominantly in workplace law, discrimination, industrial relations, and commercial disputes.

Before coming to the Bar, Katie practised as a solicitor in national law firms for more than 10 years, in Canberra and Perth. Most recently, she was a Special Counsel in HWL Ebsworth Lawyers’ workplace team. Katie also has experience in commercial, administrative review, insurance and personal injury litigation, and worked as a prosecutor for the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman. Katie was awarded the 2021 ACT Bar Association’s Women’s Scholarship.

Katie is a member of the ACT and NSW Bar Associations, Women Lawyers Association ACT, and the Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association (ACT).

Katie is listed in the 2023 Doyle’s Guide as a Recommended Employment and WHS Barrister – ACT.
