BIOGRAPHY

Nathan was called to the Bar in 2023 with 14 years of civil litigation experience in the areas of civil regulation, intentional torts, administrative and information law. In addition to his solicitor experience, Nathan first appeared as counsel for the Commonwealth in Federal Court civil penalty proceedings in 2016 (unled) and appeared as counsel in a range of jurisdictions and in each of those practice areas, prior to coming to the bar.

After university, Nathan was an associate in the NSW District Court before joining Australian Government Solicitor in 2009. During his time there, he had primary care and carriage of many large and complex litigation matters of national significance, most notably in cases involving class actions, misfeasance, privileges, civil penalties and construction.
